1.  What class is the best for my child?

There are so many classes to choose from .  If you are unsure, head on over to our classes tab, or click below, and check out what sounds interesting for your child.  If you still are not sure, email or call us and we can help you.

2.  Can my child start late in the year?

Yes!  We can still add your dancer into many of our classes, anytime in the year.  Competition team is the only exception to this rule.  This needs to be auditioned for in August.  However, all of our other classes you can be added to!

3. What should my child wear?

Great question!  If you are in any of our rectreational classes this is really up to you.  We suggest leotards, leggings, or anything your child feels comfortable moving in.   Competition does have a dress code.   Click on the tab below to help you navigate our dress code.  Any recreational dancer is welcome to click on our dress code tab and order the exact same dance clothes our competition team is wearing.

4.  What shoes do I need?

Click on the Dress Code link above and we will connect you to exactly what shoes are needed for each and every class! There is a recreation tab and competition tab. Please click the one that applies to you.

5. Why do I have to pay a registration fee?

Your registration fee covers three things.  First, it coveres our yearly t-shirt which your child will wear for community performances throughout the year.  Second, it includes your recital fee which helps us pay for our beautiful auditorium and your dancers recital tights.  Lastly, it covers your insurance fee to insure all our dancers are safe!

6. How much to recital costumes cost?

All recreational dancers have the same price on costumes.  $60 if your child is wearing a child size and $65 for adult size.  If you are unsure which you student will be in, we can help you!  We will have measurments on file so you can ask our front desk.

7. Do recreational dancers have other performances besides recital?

Yes!  We want your dancer to have the chance to show off all their hard work!  Your child will get to perform with TDP 2-3 times throughout the year.  Some examples from the past are the PSU homecoming parade, nursing home performances, and dancing at area basketball halftimes.

8.  Are there any other fees I need to know about as a recreational parent?

The three things you need to know are registration fees, costume fees, and monthly tuition.  (Which can be found on our class schedule).
